dEUS in Breda
I announced this earlier, but removed it cause I wasn't too sure then that the information was supposed to go public: dEUS will play a try-out gig at the Mezz in Breda on August 4. Tickets go on sale on Friday.

2005 then...
From Arthur on the forum: "a dEUS (concert hall) tour will follow after the release of the new album, which is currently scheduled for (early) 2005."
So it's not September.... but the first single is still due in August!

dEUS tabs!
A few years ago, Avi from Israel set up a site with tabs for most dEUS songs, and related artists. That site's back on hotellounge.com! And Avi is looking for someone to take it over, because he doesn't intend to update it.

Tom & Guy
The Bourla gig from last November will be broadcast on Canvas TV on July 24. On Canvas also, Tom's profile (the one on the AWTWB dvd) will be rerun on July 17. Tom & Guy's live album is now available in Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Greece, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Italy, Austria & France.
And Tom interviews JJ Cale this week in Humo. I'll get that issue.
AWTWB in New York
AWTWB received double honours at the 37th WorldFest in Houston (Texas): Platinum Award for Best Film in the Experimental & Dogma Films category and Gold Award for Music Score.
It has also been selected for the competition at the Brooklyn International Festival in New York (4-13 June). The BIFF, Brooklyn's festival for and by independent filmmakers, chose AWTWB out of 1,600 films from 74 countries for the way it explores 'political, social, human or philosophical themes from a genuinely imaginative point of view'. Tom Barman and producer Christian Pierre will be available for Q&A after the screening.
AWTWB has also been selected for this summer's Auckland and Wellington International Film Festivals (New Zealand).
Later on this month Any Way the Wind Blows AWTWB will be released as Z piatku na sobote in Poland. Tonight the film is to receive its French avant-premiere at the Sacrés Belges in Arras with a national opening scheduled for June. The UK and Portugal are to follow this summer/fall and the film is also expected to open in other territories including Spain, Switzerland, Bulgaria and Canada.

Festivals, roll!
The complete list of festivals that dEUS will attend this summer was published this morning on the official site. New dates include a trip to Portugal (of course!), a 3rd date in the UK (Edinburgh), a stop in Austria, and surprisingly enough, a second festival in Switzerland. Apparently, they're not going to Spain...
