No More Waiting

The looooooooong-awaited dEUS DVD is finally out (in some parts of Europe including mine). It's pretty cool stuff, and a total blast if you're a bit of a voyeur. Buy it at your local record store, or get it from Arthur's dEUS store at Proxis.

Then, thanks to Eduardo Costa, we now know that the Portuguese tour dates have been confirmed by Musicnet: dEUS as a band will play at Lisboa & Porto's Coliseus on June 22 on 23, respectively.

And you can already order tickets for the Werchter festival (where dEUS play on June 28).
Main Stage: dEUS, The Chemical Brothers and Morcheeba.
Pyramid Marquee: Luke Slater (live), Green Velvet and Praga Khan.

Real dEUS fans, move to Portugal

lit0s dML'ed a review of Tom & Guy's Thursday performance at Hard Club in Porto. Tom played a new song from his Magnus project, called Rock Chick, but more interesting, he said several times that dEUS-the-whole-band would perform in Portugal before playing at the T/W festival on June 28. Arthur apparently got official confirmation about two try-out gigs, and in another message dML'ed by Isabel, she says that dEUS will be in Portugal around June 20.

Why don't we all get down to sunny Portugal? They hosted 50% of all dEUS gigs in 1998, Tom&Guy are there for 3 shows right now, and the weather here is so uninspiring, hey, I want a nice little bungalow by the Atlantic, I'm even willing to learn Portuguese if this can improve my dEUS life!

the Bros at Marktrock 2000And the Fucking/Flying/Whatever Dewaele Brothers are releasing their very own mix album, called 2 Many DJ's (for the unaware: they're the Soulwax guys, they remixed Everybody's Weird on the TIC single). It's a PIAS record.

And tomorrow (that is Wednesday) at 21:25, RTBF La Deux will show Zita Swoon's gig at Les Halles de Schaerbeek in 2001. VCR's ...
