Hey
all, I wanted to write a reviews of St Malo's gig but mmh, its a
little late now. I'll just say i really enjoyed the gig (and was
way to happy to hear "let's see who goes down first" live again
:-) !). And all my non-dEUS fan friends now love them, they were
all very impressed by Turnpike live.
I
was very disappointed by this year's edition of La Route Du Rock
*BUT* a very cool thing happened monday when i was going home :-)
We were waiting for our train to Paris and all the band was there,
waiting too. Once in the train, my friends and i headed to the bar,
and crossed all the guys (except Craig who was in the non smoking
area) who smiled at my Ideal Crash t-shirt he he.
After
a while Julles went to see us and we started talking, then Danny
joined us too. Tim showed up for a while as well. The others were
sleeping, apparently none of them had slept - or been sober - the
night before. As a result, we basically chatted with Julles and
Danny in the train back home for like 2 hours, it was very nice
:-). Julles performed a shoulders massage to a (male) friend of
mine, gave me the key of the hotel room he had (not) slept in the
night before, tried to steal my dEUS lighter etc. Ah well, these
guys love whiskey ;-)
I
also asked who would open for them when they'll tour paris again
in october, Julles said he didnt know, that Experimental Pop Band
had asked to but that they didn't like this band (phew ! they got
me bored to death the night before).
